About The Position

The UCF Registrar’s Office maintains accurate and secure student records, issues academic transcripts, prepares and publishes the UCF Undergraduate Catalog, coordinates Commencement ceremonies, and issues diplomas. They also process readmission and residency reclassification requests, and maintain the UCF Academic Calendar, Final Exam Schedule, and Schedule of Classes. Beyond students, the office provides services to administrators and faculty, including student record data, efficient grade collection, NCAA Division I athletic eligibility reports, and student records training. This Registration Coordinator I position primarily coordinates the transfer course evaluation process. This involves using a PeopleSoft-based workflow to route syllabi from students to appropriate department/college faculty for evaluation. The role assists faculty users with form completion, ensures correct routing, and reroutes when necessary. It manages daily tasks related to the course evaluation process, including receipt, workflow, and posting of incoming transcripts/test scores, and serves as the main point of contact for UCF students, faculty, and staff regarding transfer course evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
  • Authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

Responsibilities

  • Review course evaluation tasks to ensure records are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify evaluations that are not under review and communicate with faculty to establish review timelines.
  • Review assignment of course evaluation tasks to ensure courses are evaluated by the appropriate department.
  • Research course subject matter for accuracy during both initial and final reviews and correct identified errors.
  • Refer data discrepancies to appropriate staff for correction when necessary.
  • Communicate with new users to provide guidance on the course evaluation process.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to resolve evaluation issues and clarify responsibilities.
  • Analyze current procedures and recommend process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
  • Serve on seasonal cross-functional teams with the Registrar’s Office, providing support for grading, orientation, commencement, and start-of-term triage.
