Provides reception coverage for JCPRD Visitor Services. Greets and assists on-site visitors. Answers and processes calls to JCPRD’s main administrative phone number. Keeps entry way and reception are aesthetically pleasing with information well displayed and stocked. Maintains At-a-Glance information sheets detailing metro-wide parks and recreation resources and contact information. Secures the front and back access doors at the end of each day. Assists with selling and reconciling JCPRD and State permit sales. Provides assistance with campground and special use permits, as needed. Provides internal and external customer service, answering emails, phone calls, taking walk-in registrations and facility/shelter/hayride rentals, providing assistance, direction, and information. Processes transfers, withdraws, and refunds. Assist with mailings, marketing materials, and other special projects as needed. Provides clerical support for Administrative Services. Proofs and edits marketing materials. Assembles employment folders and special event packets. Alpha sorts documents and files. Monitors JCPRD website to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Assists with monitoring JCPRD’s social media platforms. Works with other registration staff to provide efficient operation of the reception area when back-up coverage is needed.
