Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Some college coursework successfully completed.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a busy, fast-paced office setting required.
  • One (1) year of customer service experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a higher education setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to students throughout the registration process.
  • Perform a variety of administrative functions in support of the enrollment objectives at the College of DuPage.
  • Possess exceptional knowledge of all enrollment area processes, college policies and administrative procedures and FERPA.
  • Facilitate registration of students in courses in accordance to student planning and educational plan as developed by counselor/advisor/faculty in accordance with all registration processes.
  • Provide first line support to Registration Specialists including Appeals, Residency and Special Tuition processes.
  • Facilitate financial adjustments on student accounts in accordance with residency, employment or course adjustment processes.
  • Act as the primary contact and support for health science program registration processes and all registration specialist processes.
  • Identify, report and resolve registration barriers with processes developed by Manager Enrollment Systems.
  • Provide senior level support to Enrollment and Training Specialist for college staff members and cross-trained Registration staff to ensure understanding of processes and procedures.
  • Assist Manager Enrollment Systems with testing of rules and processes.
  • Assist with inquiries from students, staff and community members regarding general processes of admissions, registration functions, residency, course search, class schedules, restrictions, prerequisites, financial aid, payment and refund policies and make proper referrals, if needed.
  • Support of Registration Assistants and Enrollment Associates in relation to Registration processes.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of College policy and student privacy policies according to FERPA by attending seminars and participate in departmental and College-wide committees as a registration resource.
  • Provide student support for enrollment lab, welcome tables and other student affairs events as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from students, staff and community members regarding general processes of admissions, registration functions, residency, course search, class schedules, restrictions, prerequisites, financial aid, payment policy refund policy. Make proper referrals, as required.
  • Support and assist Enrollment and Registration Training Specialist with training needs for new employees and other college employees with registration securities.
  • Provide support to the Enrollment Associates and Enrollment Center/One Stop staff as it relates to registration processes.
  • Assist with creation and modification of Registration and/or Student Affair documents for office and student wide use.
  • Provide administrative support for Enrollment Support Center campaigns and Dual Credit registration processes during critical registration periods.
  • Support Assistant Manager in creation of and maintaining the hourly schedule for all employees of the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
