St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking an individual to assist with clerical duties associated with keeping the department running smoothly. This role, also known as Representative I - Patient Access, provides patient-focused customer service. The responsibilities include outpatient and/or inpatient registration, insurance verification, collecting patient financial liability payments, and ensuring patients meet financial requirements such as Medicare medical necessity and payer pre-certifications and referrals. The role also involves providing general information to hospital users, patients, families, and physician offices. The position requires incorporating Trinity Health's Mission, Values, Vision, Actions, and Promise into daily behaviors and decisions. It involves researching, collecting, and analyzing information to identify opportunities and develop solutions, collaborating on performance improvement activities, and distributing analytical reports. The role utilizes multiple system applications for analysis, report creation, and developing educational materials, while prioritizing quality, confidentiality, and safety. A working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, and other policies is necessary to ensure adherence to honest, ethical, and professional behavior and safe work practices.
