Requirements

  • Possess an Associate degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in an Office Lead or School Administrative position.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficient on PC and basic MS Office programs.

  • Ability to create and maintain a customer-focused atmosphere within administrative functions.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from parents.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with Students, Parents, Principal, and Teachers.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Responsibilities

  • Manage student permanent record files, withdrawals, student records requests, and re-enrollment information in accordance with state law.
  • Ensure the New Student Enrollment process is timely, complete, and accurate, including application entry, follow-up, correspondence, and communication.
  • Prepare and execute the lottery process.
  • Maintain cumulative files, ensuring their updates, maintenance, and security.
  • Maintain required records in the Student Information System to ensure compliance with state, federal, authorizer, and National Heritage Academies’ standards, including attendance records, parent/household information, emergency contact information, and required forms.
  • Manage all First Day / Count Day processes and requirements.
  • Forward pertinent personnel documents to People Services at the National Heritage Academies Service Center and maintain communication with People Services.
  • Maintain a current and active list of substitute teachers.
  • Support a professional, customer-service-oriented office environment for visitors, parents, and students.
  • Answer phones, direct questions and inquiries, and provide enrollment information to interested parents.
  • Participate in and drive continuous improvement in personal development and processes, including attending training.
