About The Position
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Registrar in processing and maintaining academic records and student information associated with registration activities in an institution of secondary education. TKA is a Christ-centered school grounded in a Biblical worldview, and we are looking for a Registrar’s Assistant who is a follower of Jesus Christ and is dedicated to the school’s Christ-centered mission.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent required
- 2 years of experience, preferably with records management, registration, or a related field
- Strong leadership qualities and mentoring skills
- Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in written form
- Able to work both independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to learn new computer software systems
- Commitment to loving and serving Jesus Christ and supporting the school’s mission
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, flexible, resourceful, and solution-oriented
- Able to understand, love, and relate to students
- Must be active in or pursuing community in a local Christian body of believers
- Must have compatible theology in line with TKA's Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Agreement
Nice To Haves
- Special knowledge or experience in the registrar's office, customer service, communications, or records management is preferred
Responsibilities
- Student enrollment - information packets, demographic information, immunizations & records
- Class scheduling including entry and review for accuracy, notifying teachers of changes, and collecting & entering recommendations for student placement
- Providing assistance to the registrar’s office, serving the students, parents and staff
- Performing general office duties including correspondence, reports, and communications
- Coordinating work permits, CA Scholarship Federation forms, announcements, records
- Maintaining the PE Waiver records and database, processing forms, and adding doctor’s notes
