Requirements

• Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician Diploma
• Passed the VTNE or will soon be passing the VTNE
• Good standing with their provincial regulatory association
• Ability to keep up with a very busy clinic - stay agile and efficient throughout a busy schedule
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A genuine passion for animal health and client service

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
• Monitoring anesthesia and recovery
• Performing laboratory procedures (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology, etc.)
• Providing compassionate nursing care to medical and surgical patients
• Educating clients on preventive care, nutrition, and treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate medical records and supporting clinic flow
