About The Position
Seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join the team at VCA Bradshaw Animal Hospital, a general practice and urgent care hospital. This is a full-time position working 4/10 hour shifts. As a member of the VCA Bradshaw team, you will support technician and doctor teams by creating a positive atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. We want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Responsibilities
- Triaging and stabilizing incoming urgent care/emergency patients
- Assisting veterinarians with surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia
- Dentistry
- Radiology
- Laboratory work
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- ICU and compassionate care of our hospitalized animal
