About The Position

The Don Valley Animal Hospital has been serving the Don Mills community for over 35 years. We are located west of the D.V.P. on Lawrence Ave. E. across from the Shops on Don Mills. We pride ourselves in providing the personal and professional care that you should expect from a veterinary hospital. As pet owners ourselves we understand the importance and value of our companions in our daily life. We offer a wide range of services including, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, the existence of nutritional and behavioural services.

Requirements

Must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE.
Must be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association.
Must have successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.

Responsibilities

Assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
Uses a range of diagnostic equipment.
Prepares patients, instruments and equipment for surgery.
Administers and monitors medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.
Builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets.
Is respectful in all interactions.
Provides exceptional customer service.
