Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with the OAVT, or eligible for registration
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary nursing practices
- Experience performing diagnostic laboratory procedures in a veterinary setting
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment
- A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional patient care

Responsibilities
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures
- Monitoring anesthesia and patient vital signs to ensure safe surgical outcomes
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood work, urinalysis, fecal testing, and other diagnostics
- Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments with accuracy and compassion
- Providing hands-on nursing care, patient monitoring, and recovery support
- Educating pet owners on preventive healthcare, treatment plans, medication administration, and post-operative care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
- Supporting client service and reception activities as needed
- Collaborating with a team that is committed to outstanding patient care and client experience
