Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology program
Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential
Strong technical skills in anesthesia, surgery, patient care, and nursing
Experience using veterinary practice management software (PIMS)
Excellent communication and client service skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, reliability, and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with appointments, treatments, and procedures
Monitor anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures
Prepare patients for surgery and ensure a safe recovery
Collect laboratory samples and perform diagnostic testing
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Educate clients and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain accurate medical records using the practice management system
Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide the highest standard of patient care
