About The Position

VCA Orchard Animal Hospital is looking for a registered veterinary technician (RVT) to join our team, in Greenwood Village, CO! Pay Range: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.   • Credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT)

Responsibilities

  • Support technician and doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
  • Win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.
  • Utilize knowledge of physical examinations and patient assessment.
  • Perform anesthesia monitoring.
  • Assist with surgical preparation.
  • Perform dentistry.
  • Operate radiology equipment.
  • Conduct laboratory work.
  • Perform venipuncture.
  • Perform catheter placement.
  • Manage pharmacy.
  • Oversee patient recovery.
  • Provide compassionate care of hospitalized animals.
