About The Position

Colony Park Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who enjoys patient care, teamwork, and creating a positive experience for both pets and clients. Our AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor small animal practice provides preventive care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and compassionate treatment in a collaborative environment where technicians are encouraged to fully utilize their skills.

Requirements

Active RVT credentials in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
At least 2 years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting
Strong technical abilities including: anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture and catheter placement, surgical assistance, dental and digital radiography
Comfortable managing appointments, treatments, and hospitalized patients
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A dependable team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment and contributes positively to hospital culture

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery
Perform laboratory sample collection and processing
Capture diagnostic-quality radiographs, including dental imaging
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Educate pet owners on preventive care and post-treatment instructions
Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation
Support efficient patient flow and high-quality client service throughout the day
