About The Position
Codornices Veterinary Clinic is a full-service small-animal practice in Albany, California, providing individualized care to pets and their families throughout the East Bay. The clinic offers wellness and preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics and imaging, surgery, dermatology, behavioral counseling, and pain management, supported by in-house diagnostic capabilities. The clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician for part-time work, including availability to help on Saturdays. The role supports veterinarians and clients in delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout pets’ lives.
Requirements
- Experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Veterinary Technician certification required, or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
- Availability to help the clinic on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
- Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
