The role involves rooming patients, surgical assisting, drawing blood, running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, animal handling and restraint, client education, and being a positive team member. Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician
- 1+ years of veterinary experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Excellent client communication/education

Responsibilities
- Rooming patients

- Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
- Assisting doctor and other technical staff with restraint
- Blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
- Placing IV catheters
- Digital radiology including positioning
- Dentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)
- Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
- Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; Sedivue
