About The Position
Fish Creek Pet Hospital in Calgary, AB is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team. This fully equipped hospital has over 20 veterinarians and 100 support staff dedicated to exceptional patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment. It is a fast-paced hospital where RVTs can grow their skills, work with an experienced team, and make a meaningful impact. Fish Creek Pet Hospital cares for regular clients and pets referred from surrounding clinics for emergency and extended care services. The hospital offers preventive medicine, wellness care, dentistry, routine and emergency surgery, advanced diagnostics, and in-hospital treatment, providing RVTs with a diverse and rewarding caseload. Located in Calgary, Alberta, the hospital offers a balance of city living and outdoor adventure, with access to the Rocky Mountains, vibrant culture, restaurants, and parks.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician designation or eligibility for registration in Alberta
- Strong technical skills including anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, radiology, dentistry, and patient nursing care
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
