About The Position

VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, credentialed registered veterinary technician to supervise teams supporting emergency and specialty medicine. The supervisor works on the floor alongside the emergency and radiology teams, handling supervisory duties as well as technical responsibilities. Supervisor experience is not required; training is provided.

The hospital, established in 1971 and operating 24 hours a day since 1974, emphasizes outstanding, innovative patient care. Team members work closely with experienced DVMs and benefit from hands-on learning, didactic training, collaboration on case management and treatment, and autonomy in performing technical skills. The position is full-time, scheduled for five 8-hour shifts, and based in Denver, Colorado. Compensation is $29.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and credentials. • Ensure documentation is appropriate, thorough, and complete.
• Help oversee the radiology department in coordination with other emergency department supervisors.
