About The Position

The Vascular Technologist performs a full range of vascular exams, using a variety of equipment and modalities including ultrasound and testing. This role involves cross-training to other divisions of CV Services, demonstrating acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment, and reviewing patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness. The technologist will perform routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines, and a variety of vascular ultrasound exams according to physician orders and standing protocols. The position may require rotation to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability and taking call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends. Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients and appropriate documentation to accurately communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Registered Vascular Technologist - Vascular Technology (RVT-VT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Associate's Degree: Sonography

Responsibilities
