About The Position
Central New York Cardiology is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Vascular Technologist to join our healthcare team. As a team member, you will be responsible for helping us provide high-quality care to our patients with cardiac conditions by working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our team. As an RVT, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive vascular procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with vascular diseases.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) / or be able to become certified
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- This position requires travel to our satellite offices located in Oneida, Herkimer, and Rome with some coverage in our main Utica office.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive vascular testing such as, Carotids, Aortas, Renal artery doppler, as well as venous and arterial studies.
- Evaluate and interpret test results to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in vascular technology and techniques
