About The Position
The Registered Vascular Technologist Per Diem will be responsible for scheduling, preparing the patient, taking a brief history, and either performing or assisting with Vascular Diagnostic studies and other tests.
Requirements
- Completion of a one (1) year training program or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Graduate from approved school of medical ultrasound technology or equivalent.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, and pertinent testing procedures required to perform clinical tests, maintain equipment, chart treatments and tests, etc.
- BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
- RVS Certification or RVT certification required
