We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Technologist, CT/Angio to join our Medical Imaging team.

Requirements

  • Must be registered and in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have good teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Must be IV certified.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.

Nice To Haves

  • Registration with the CAMRT preferred
  • CT and Interventional Radiology certificate preferred
  • Previous experience in CT and Interventional Radiology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform all CT and Interventional Radiology procedures as per determined department protocols or as directed by the Radiologist
  • Ability to operate all types of equipment used within the departments, including CT scanner, Interventional system, Multipurpose Room, Contrast Injections etc
  • Prepare and assess patients for CT scan or Interventional Procedure including obtaining contrast consent, confirming exam validity, confirm exam validity, sterile technique practices and resourcing Radiologist as is necessary
  • Complete exam process by image review, confirming documentation and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS
  • Knowledge of and dutifully follows radiation safety practices for the protection of the patient, colleagues and their own occupational dose
