Registered Sonographer-Maternal Fetal Medicine
About The Position
As the Sonographer, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, you will perform specialized ultrasounds to assess fetal well-being in pregnant women. You will assist the Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians in performing ultrasound-guided procedures and inform medical staff in the event of abnormal findings/results. You will prepare women for exams, including patient positioning to obtain the best possible images. You will participate in the clinical instruction of students as needed. Requirements
- Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have had the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
- Must have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent training that is accepted by the ARMDS or must be registry eligible.
- Registry eligible sonographers must successfully complete all requirements within 6 months of hire date.
