We are looking for a Social Worker with experience in the fields of psycho-social rehabilitation and assessment, complex mental health, case management, neurorehabilitation, and/or chronic pain to provide in-home support.
Requirements
- Registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (NSCSW)
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)
Nice To Haves
- Masters Degree in Social Work
- Experience working within the private sector
- Bilingualism in a second language is a bonus, specifically French, Arabic, & Persian
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home support.
- Provide counselling to people of all developmental ages - child, youth, young adults, and adults, as well as family counselling.
- Work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
