We are looking for a Social Worker with experience in the fields of psycho-social rehabilitation and assessment, complex mental health, case management, neurorehabilitation, and/or chronic pain to provide in-home support.

Requirements

• Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
• Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)

Nice To Haves

• Masters Degree in Social Work
• Experience working with the MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) system
• Registration with the Order of Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists of Quebec
• Bilingualism in a second language is a bonus, specifically French, Arabic, & Persian
• Interest and/or experience working with children is also a bonus!

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home support.
• Provide counselling to people of all developmental ages - child, youth, young adults, and adults, as well as family counselling.
• Work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Assist in supporting paperwork, billing and other demands.
• Provide client-centric care.
