About The Position
MedBridge Healthcare is growing and seeking talented Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGTs) to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about patient care, confident in their technical skills, and seeking a stable career. The position is also a great opportunity for Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) interested in obtaining their Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) certification.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program
- NY PSG license and/or CRT/RT license required
- RPSGT certification preferred (NY PSG or RT license still required without RPSGT)
- BCLS/CPR certification
- All required vaccinations and immunizations
- Strong technical skills and exceptional patient care focus
Nice To Haves
- RRT interested in earning their Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) certification
Responsibilities
- Conduct overnight sleep studies and collect comprehensive clinical data
- Prepare equipment, apply sensors/electrodes, and ensure proper calibration
- Fit and troubleshoot airway pressure masks
- Score and analyze respiratory, cardiac, and sleep-related events
- Follow all safety, compliance, and documentation standards
