About The Position

An individual who demonstrates respiratory clinical skills and knowledge in the management of all types of patients (adult/pediatric). Strong interpersonal skills are a requirement to provide leadership and support to maintain working relationships with internal and / or external customers. Constant evaluation and monitoring of services assures quality care to the patient. This individual may participate in hospital wide committees and respiratory care throughout Baptist Health and effectively communicate with all team members.

Requirements

  • High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist License in the State of Florida.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Card/ CPR Card.
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP required per department standards.
  • Candidate must have less than 1 year of RRT/CRT work experience to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
  • Candidate must successfully complete Baptist Health’s pre-employment process including obtaining a source verifiable FL RRT/CRT license, be hired, and remain employed in good standing with Baptist Health during the payout period.
  • Former employees of Baptist Health South Florida or any of its affiliates who left the organization during the previous 12 months are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
  • Former Contract Workers who ended assignment at Baptist Health South Florida or any of its affiliates within the previous 6 months are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
