About The Position

This role involves leading clinical assessment and care planning for respiratory health, evaluating patient needs, and developing tailored plans of care. It also includes mastering advanced respiratory modalities, delivering expert care using sophisticated ventilation and treatment technologies, and championing real-time clinical communication by monitoring patient conditions and providing data to ensure safe care transitions. The position also involves empowering patients through specialized education and supporting rapid emergency resuscitation as a key member of the emergency code team.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Support Rapid Emergency Resuscitation: Respond with precision and decisive action as a key member of the emergency code team to provide life saving respiratory interventions during high pressure situations.
