About The Position

Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team on a contingent, variable basis. This role is responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with pulmonary disorders and conditions, utilizing all respiratory care modalities. The therapist will perform cardiopulmonary assessments and evaluations for patients on therapist-driven protocols, provide therapeutic respiratory care, and manage critical care and ventilators. They will also respond to medical emergencies, perform diagnostic tests, document patient care in the electronic medical record, support procedural areas, assist with quality improvement data collection, and perform/analyze arterial blood gases.

Requirements

Graduate of an A.M.A. approved School for Respiratory Therapy required.
Associate degree in respiratory therapy or equivalent required.
Must have a valid license to practice Respiratory Care in the State of Ohio.
Annual Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification obtained within six months of employment.

Responsibilities
