About The Position

Qualified individuals may receive a bonus of up to $15,000! This is a 90% FTE, full-time position with an evening/night shift, working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule includes every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. The position is located at 1350 Charles St, Rockford, IL. Additional compensation components include impressive shift differentials: $3.50/hr for evening shifts, $4.50/hr for night shifts, and $3.75/hr for weekend shifts, as applicable. Other potential compensation includes overtime and on-call pay. Requirements

  • Graduate of a Commission of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) Accredited Program for Respiratory Therapy.
  • 2 years experience as a staff therapist, including work with neonatal and/or pediatric critical care patients.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state of Illinois (within 90 days of passing test for new grads)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
  • Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) Certification or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire.

  • Experience working in a patient transport environment.
