Registered Respiratory Therapist - Nights
About The Position
This person will be responsible for performing respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. They will communicate appropriate information to ensure continuity of care. The role involves delivering and delegating respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients, demonstrating both knowledge of facts and sound judgment. Key duties include charting precise and specific observations via Focus Charting, conducting patient assessments, and completing all forms accurately and timely (e.g., Flow sheets, e-MARs). The RRT will identify and appropriately utilize a multidiscipline approach to facilitate the delivery of care and will seek knowledge related to patient’s condition, disease entity, or treatment, reflecting this in patient care, documentation, and team conferences. This is a full-time night shift position, from 7pm-7:30am.
Requirements
- HS graduate or equivalent, graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
- Registered through NBRC
- Licensed in the state of PA or valid temporary license and Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Certified in BLS.
