The Staff Pad is partnering with Blue Ridge Medical Center, located in Blue Ridge, GA to find a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality respiratory care and support positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
Emotionally mature with the ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations
Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional License required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
NBRC Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
PALS and NRP certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Performing respiratory assessments, treatments, and diagnostic evaluations
Monitoring and managing patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
Providing clinical consultation, education, and technical support to healthcare staff
Operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment
Responding effectively in urgent and critical care situations
Supporting additional departmental and patient care duties as needed
