About The Position
Administers respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. Provides patient education on pulmonary disease processes, medications and therapies. Acts as a resource for Certified Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory Care Practitioners, and students. They act under the direction of the Medical Director, Director of Cardiopulmonary and the Respiratory Care Coordinator.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program for Respiratory Care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials with the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Respiratory Care Practitioner Kentucky state license
- Compliance with Continuing Education requirements
- Certified in CPR/First Aid for Health Care Professionals
