About The Position

This role involves leading patient assessments to design personalized care plans for respiratory needs and improve recovery outcomes. The therapist will manage advanced respiratory treatments and life-support equipment for patients with complex breathing challenges. Additionally, the role includes educating patients and families, and serving as a key member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing rapid intervention during critical moments.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional letter will be accepted until license is issued.
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
