About The Position

This role involves leading patient assessments to design personalized care plans targeting specific respiratory needs and improving recovery outcomes. The Registered Respiratory Therapist will manage advanced respiratory treatments and life-support equipment to ensure stability and safety for patients with complex breathing challenges. They will empower patients and their families through clear education, ensuring they feel confident and supported in managing their health journey. Additionally, this role supports life-saving efforts as a key member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing rapid, expert intervention during critical, high-stakes moments.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional letter will be accepted until license is issued.
  • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
