About The Position
Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required
- No experience required Required
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required
- BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- ACLS Upon Hire Required
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Responsibilities
- Performing patient assessments
- general respiratory care procedures and protocols
- critical care procedures in adult care areas
- blood gas analysis
- maintenance and management of all equipment
- patient education
