About The Position

The Registered Respiratory Therapist works with patients from neonates through geriatrics. The therapist may work in the ICU, IMCU, medical-surgical unit, nursery, and emergency department. The position also involves EKGs, arterial blood gases (ABGs), bedside pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and bedside bronchoscopies. Training is available for the right candidate, including nursery care for neonates. The nursery is not a NICU, and pediatric care is limited to patients in the emergency department.

Requirements

• Respiratory therapist license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
