About The Position

Registered Respiratory Therapists are responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based upon assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role requires a candidate with strong OB experience and the ability to function as a team player. Any requested time off (RTO) needs to be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract.

Requirements

  • Current Washington State license, as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Must maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certification
  • Must practice within the scope of practice of a RCP
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
  • Ability to lift five (5) pounds over head
  • Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed
  • Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
  • Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures
  • Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform charting procedures
  • Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department

Nice To Haves

  • One year of current acute care experience
  • Strong OB experience
