About The Position

Abrazo Arrowhead is seeking passionate Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to join their dynamic team. This role involves working in a collaborative, high-acuity setting where the therapist's skills are valued, their growth is supported, and their work directly contributes to the care of complex, critical patients.

Requirements

• 2 years of respiratory experience
• Completion of an accredited 2-year respiratory therapy program (CRT/RRT eligible)
• Licensed RRT in the State of Arizona
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of ventilators & patient hemodynamics
• A passion for clinical excellence and mentoring
• Comfort working in high-acuity environments
• Strong aseptic and infection control practices
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Acute care/ICU experience
• Hemodynamics experience
• PFT experience
• Cardiology experience
• Precepting experience
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification within 12 months

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians.
• Handles complex cases and performs all modalities of respiratory care.
• Performs diagnostic testing (treadmills, complete PFTs).
• Maintains ABG machine.
• Assists with hemodynamics & special procedures.
• Performs procedures in ICU, PACU, and more.
• Provides treatment across all age groups—newborn to geriatric.
