About The Position

The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs patient assessments and provides general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, and blood gas analysis. The role also includes maintaining and managing equipment and educating patients. The position is a weekend option assignment at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia, with shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. A sign-on bonus is available.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
• No prior work experience required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 days.
