About The Position

This role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans and equipment, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions, and performing advanced respiratory care modalities. The Registered Respiratory Therapist will evaluate respiratory practice, administer medications, and treatments based on patient outcomes. Additionally, they will educate patients and families about their health conditions and provide information about community support groups and other available programs. The role also includes responding to emergency resuscitation team codes.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
