About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a per diem position in Redding, CA. This role involves performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures under the direction of medical leadership. The therapist will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of patient care, considering age and population-specific needs. In some instances, the RRT may serve as a Lead RCP, overseeing the department during their shift.
Requirements
- Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of acute care experience required.
Responsibilities
- Performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the ordering provider.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care.
- Considering age and population-specific needs and requirements of the patient.
- Potentially serving as Lead RCP with responsibility for the section or department during their shift.
