About The Position
This position is responsible for performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS required
- ACLS required (ALS can be used in place of ACLS)
- PALS required
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
