About The Position
UW Health is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in northern Illinois. The position is 90% FTE and full-time, with a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Rotating weekend and holiday work is required. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Illinois license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner; new graduates must obtain it within 90 days of passing the test.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
- PALS certification within two years of hire.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience working as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
