About The Position

Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join its collaborative team. The therapist performs routine and advanced respiratory, cardiac, and neurology procedures in accordance with department policies and procedures. The role responds to in-house and outpatient emergencies throughout the hospital and provides appropriate supportive measures. It also includes inspecting, cleaning, and testing therapeutic and diagnostic equipment to ensure proper operation, calibrating diagnostic equipment when applicable, and conducting bedside assessments. The therapist provides input to physicians and other disciplines to improve the quality and effectiveness of cardiopulmonary care. The position is contingent, primarily day shift, with a weekend rotation.

Requirements

Complete training from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
Hold current Ohio licensure to practice respiratory therapy.
Be registered by the NBRC in respiratory therapy.

Nice To Haves

Sleep Lab experience and/or certification from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is desirable.
A minimum of one year of hospital experience is preferred.
