Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Responsibilities
- Demonstrating proficiency in the use/operation of respiratory equipment and provision of respiratory treatment to assigned age specific patient population (e.g. infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics)
- Participates in related continuing education.
- Provides care to assigned patients according to professional standards and established procedures, using good judgment and personal initiative.
- Administers medication as prescribed by a physician
- Performs the drawing and analysis of blood gasses.
- Other duties assigned as per scope of practice.
