About The Position
HCA Florida JFK Hospital is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Under general supervision, the therapist initiates, assesses, and evaluates respiratory therapy, including bronchodilators, chest physical therapy, oxygen therapy, and ventilator care. The role applies technical knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as the design and operation of respiratory therapy equipment. The position is full-time nights and requires no travel. A sign-on bonus or relocation assistance may be available.
Requirements
- Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner state credential (RRT/RCP-State).
- Vocational school graduate or associate degree.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- No experience required.
Responsibilities

- Apply technical knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology, and pathology and of respiratory therapy equipment design and operation.
