Requirements

• Minimum of AAS Degree from an AMA approved program in Respiratory Care
• Eligible for Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current NYS Respiratory Therapy licensure
• BCLS certification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist in transportation of intubated patients with special emphasis in maintaining airways and providing adequate ventilation and oxygenation.
• Assess modalities of respiratory therapy, recommend changes - including improvements appropriate to the delivery of respiratory care.
