Requirements

  • 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree
  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients
  • Managing mechanical ventilation and advanced airway therapies
  • Performing detailed patient assessments and arterial blood gas analysis
  • Administering oxygen therapy, specialty gases, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Serving as a clinical resource for fellow respiratory therapists and healthcare staff
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
  • Continuing to expand your clinical expertise through ongoing education and professional development
