Requirements

Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
If possessing an active temporary practice permit, must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within one (1) year.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
Conditional offer of employment requires a medical examination.
Conditional offer of employment requires submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

Assess resident conditions, supervise care, and adjust assignments based on needs
Assist physicians during rounds, transcribe orders, and ensure treatments are completed
Document resident care, update medical records, and maintain medication information
Develop care plans, coordinate implementation with staff, and revise plans based on resident response
Manage ordering, inventory, and inspection of nursing supplies and equipment
Teach procedures, monitor performance, and provide feedback to help improve nursing care
