About The Position

Trillium Health Partners is one of Canada’s largest community-based teaching hospitals, serving the growing and diverse populations of Mississauga, West Toronto, and surrounding communities. This temporary part-time position is for approximately 12 months within the Women's Health Clinics at the Credit Valley Hospital. The role involves providing care within a fast-paced clinic environment, focusing on women's health, early pregnancy loss, and gynecology.

Requirements

• Diploma graduate of a recognized college or school of nursing or equivalent (i.e., certificate RPN with added courses in medication administration, phlebotomy, and health assessment).
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Recent experience (minimum one year) focusing on women's health, early pregnancy loss, and gynecology.
• Phlebotomy skills.
• Knowledge of sterile surgical procedures, and basic instrument knowledge.
• Recent knowledge, skill and judgment to work in a fast-paced clinic.
• Demonstrates strong attention to patient and family-centred care and establishing therapeutic relationships.
• Expert communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Current BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Women's Clinic.
